Extending north and south along Franklin Ave. between Foothill Dr and Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Franklin Village is the one of the newer recognized neighborhoods in Los Angeles. Franklin Village is s community encompassing the history of Hollywood which can be seen in the early 1920's Hollywood apartment buildings and craftsman homes that line it's streets. We are a friendly neighborhood where you frequently run into your neighbors while walking about the community. So to borrow a line from Cheers, This is the place where "Everybody knows your name." Franklin Village is a one stop place for locals and proves that you don't always need a car in LA. Considering the congested parking situation in this neighborhood, the fact that so much is located with walking distance is a blessing to many who call this neighborhood home.
